Mo Salah was taken down Judo style by Sergio Ramos in the Champion's League Final last night, and as a result went off injured in tears, with a serious shoulder injury. With the World Cup just weeks away, will Mo Salah be fit for the 2018 World Cup?
Watch Ramos take down Salah here:
After the game, Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp was asked about Salah's injury, and he responded by saying: “It’s a serious injury, a really serious injury.
“He is in the hospital for an X-ray. It’s either the collarbone or the shoulder itself. It doesn’t look good, that’s it.”
If it is a dislocated shoulder, it could be 12-16 weeks before he's fully recovered according to the NHS.
The Egyptian FA announced on Twitter that they are optimistic he will be back in time for the tournament. Fingers crossed!
