AC Milan coach Leonardo is reportedly eyeing up January moves for VfL Wolfsburg hitman Edin Dzeko and Toulouse forward Andre-Pierre Gignac as he looks to bolster his attacking options at the San Siro.
Dzeko, 23, was instrumental in helping Felix Magath’s Wolfsburg side storm to the Bundesliga title last season as his partnership with Brazilian striker Grafite yielded an astonishing 58 goals in all competitions.
The 6ft 3in Bosnia international striker has long been a target for Europe's biggest clubs, including the likes Arsenal and Chelsea, but he has made no secret of his desire to join the Rossoneri on numerous occasions.
“I've already said many times that I'm a Milan fan,” he told FIFA.com.
“My objective remains to play for a great club like the Rossoneri,” he added.
Dzeko's possible arrival in the New year could signal the end of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's brief spell in the fashion capital with the Dutchman failing to net a single goal since his £13million switch from Real Madrid in the summer.
Meanwhile, powerful Toulouse striker Gignac has also been linked with a move to Milan as he continues to impress in Ligue 1 this season, netting three times for Le Tefece.
Having received his first international cap with France in August, the 23-year-old grabbed a brace against the Faroe Islands, in France's 5–0 win during the World Cup qualifiers in October.
Milan coach Leonardo is now reportedly weighing up a €15million bid as he seeks to bolster his attacking line-up having already netted highly-rated African youngster Dominic Adiyiah and secured David Beckham’s loan return.
