Supporter of Burnley Hometown: Burnley About myself: I've been following Burnley FC for just over 20 years, with my first game being in the 1987/88 season, in the wonderful Division 4 (aka League Two). I was an Everton fan, but my Dad decided to take me to watch my hometown team and from then on in, I was hooked and a huge Burnley fan. Have been a season ticket holder for 10 years now and manage to get to between 5-10 away games a year. My best memories: I've had some good memories in the 20 or so years of watching Burnley and these include winning the 4th Division championship in 1992, winning the 2nd Division Play-Off Final in 1994 and then promotion to the now Coca-Cola Championship in 2000, finishing runners-up. But my best memory came in May 2009, when Burnley beat Sheffield United, 1-0 in the Coca-Cola Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley - to gain promotion to the Premier League. Some other good memories from this season include the Carling Cup run that took us to 3 minutes away from reaching the Final, beating Fulham, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs along the way. My worst memories: I've not had too many bad memories, seeing Burnley getting relegated in 1995, but to be honest, it was inevitable and perhaps seeing us come so close to reaching the Carling Cup Final in 2009 only to be cruelly defeated in the last minutes of extra time. Also, I guess England's defeats in 1990 WC Semi Finals and the Euro 96 Semi Finals, against Germany - have been pretty harsh times. Other clubs i like: NAC Clubs i hate: Blackburn Rovers - Leeds United - Sheffield United - Preston North End Favourite players: Robbie Blake
