Premier League trio Arsenal, Aston Villa and Birmingham City could be set to spark a bidding war for the services of 6ft 8" Valencia striker Nikola Zigic.
The towering Serbian hitman has found appearances hard to come by at the Mestalla this season, despite scoring an impressive 13 goals in 19 games on loan at Racing Santander last term.
This has led the 29-year-old to indicating a desire to move on from Los Che in a bid to gain regular first-team football ahead of next summer's World Cup finals in South Africa.
According to the Daily Mirror, Zigic is interesting the Gunners, Villa and Birmingham, and all are expected to make a bid when the January transfer window opens.
However, they may also face competition from the likes of Blackburn, Sunderland and Stoke, who all registered an interest in the former Red Star Belgrade ace during the summer.
His agent, Milan Calasan, admits he is 'sure' his client will depart from Valencia next month, with his asking price set in the region of £8million.
"I'm sure that Zigic will switch clubs in January if a good offer arrives," Calasan said in The Daily Mirror.
"I can only say that the price should be convenient for everyone and not too high."
