Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho has brushed aside suggestions he could be about to part company with the Serie A champions and arrogantly asserted that he would have many suitors were he to exit.
Reports emanating from Italy this past week had claimed that the self proclaimed 'Special One' was to be relieved of his duties at Giuseppe Meazza had he failed to lead Inter into the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
Fortunately for the Portuguese tactician, Inter secured a 2-0 win over Russian champions Rubin Kazan in their final fixture of Group F to qualify to the knockout stages behind holders Barcelona.
That result has eased the pressure on Mourinho for now, but many remain unconvinced by the tactical approach he adopts and outspoken former players, including Inter legend Sandro Mazzola, and journalists have questioned his logic.
However, the former Chelsea boss remains unfazed by his detractors and confidently asserted that it would be the club's loss were they to part with his services.
Mourinho also hinted he has potential future plans should he decide to move on from the San Siro and insists, like a kid in a candy store, he could have his pick from almost any club.
"I'm a calm coach because when a coach leaves a club it's difficult for him to find a job, but if I leave Inter I'll be in demand. I can't say I'd choose exactly where I'd go, but almost," he told Sky Sports.
The 46-year-old feels he has been unfairly treated of late and has questioned those who feel the need to try to undermine his tenure, with the under-fire boss pointing to his accomplishments with the club.
He added: "I thought that results mattered in Italy but in fact that's not the case given that a team which won the title, is top of the league and has qualified from a Champions League group containing the holders is still being criticised.''
