VIDEO: Lehmann is really taking the piss this time!

Jens Lehmann has been involved in some outrageous incidents over the years, but he outdid himself on Wednesday evening when he took a sneaky pee during Stuttgart's UEFA Champions League clash with Unirea.

The notoriously ill-natured veteran shot-stopper explained his actions by insisting that he had 'never been so nervous'; Stuttgart had to beat Dan Petrescu's Romanian champions in order to take the runners-up spot in Group G.

Lehmann, 40, nipped behind the advertising hoardings in the Mercedes-Benz Arena and did his business, keeping a close eye on the game, before returning to the action, still rearranging his, er, shorts, in time to face a Unirea attack.

The former Arsenal stopper isn't the only one to be caught short on the football pitch, fellow eccentric keeper Fabien Barthez made a mark when he relieved himself during a UEFA Cup match for Marseille a few years back.

The Frenchman, however casually did so in the middle of the pitch! Meanwhile, Rangers' star Damarcus Beasley has also been caught on camera spending a penny whilst on the bench during a USA game.

Here's Lehmann in action:
