Standard Liege goalkeeper Sinan Bolat was the toast of his team-mates after rescuing his side's Europa League spot with a clinically taken last-minute header to secure a 1-1 draw with AZ Alkmaar.
Bolat ventured into AZ's penalty area at the death and got on the end of a free-kick, snatching a draw for his side in the process which meant they took their spot in the Europa League ahead of AZ.
In a week which also say Bayern Munich shot-stopper Hans-Jorg Butt score in the UEFA Champions League, ExtraFootieshowcases other custodians who have scored late in the day to rescue their side. 1: Sinan Bolat - A brilliant header to rescue Standard a draw and their Europe League qualification.
2: Paul Robinson - Scored a similarly impressive and important header for Leeds United back in the 2003-04 season. This near post effort ensured extra-time in a League Cup tie with Swindon Town.
3: Peter Schmeichel - Scored many goals in his esteemed career, and although this one didn't count, it would've been the most dramatic. Here is the Great Dane expertly putting away an overhead kick in an FA Cup fourth round replay.
4: The daddy of them all is, of course, Jimmy Glass' injury time effort which kept Carlisle in the Football League in 1999. It is doesn't get more dramatic than this late, late volley against Plymouth.
