Chelsea host Cypriot minnows Apoel Nicosia at Stamford Bridge on Matchday 6 of the UEFA Champions League having already sealed top spot in Group D.
The Blues ensured their safe passage through to the last 16 as group winners having defeated Portuguese champions FC Porto 1-0 at the Estadio Dragao on Matchday 5 courtesy of Nicolas Anelka's second half header.
Having initially been tempted to make wholesale changes to his starting XI for Tuesday's clash, Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti will field a stong line-up in order to banish memories of Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.
Either way, the plucky Cypriot side should not provide too much of a problem for the 2008 runners-up.
In their maiden outing in Europe's elite club competition, Apoel have yet to win a game although they did grab two credible draws against Atletico Madrid and pushed FC Porto close twice, losing by the odd goal on both occasions.
A place in the Europa League is still a big possibility although they would have to hope Atletico Madrid's slip up at the Vicente Calderon where they host FC Porto.
Team News:
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is unlikely to start with captain John Terry, who is thought to be nursing a knee injury sustained during Saturday's defeat at City.
Ashley Cole (ankle) and Michael Ballack (knee) are also doubtful whilst strikers Salomon Kalou and Daniel Sturridge are set to miss out, meaning highly-rated youngster Gael Kakuta could be given his European debut.
Apoel will turn to Serbian striker Nenad Mirosavljevic, who netted against Atletico Madrid on Matchday 5.
Midfielder Nectarios Alexandrou and defender Christos Kontis (both calf) are doubtful for the visitors, who will be seeking a famous victory to bring the curtain down on their first ever European adventure.
Probable Line-Ups; *Star Man:
Chelsea (4-4-2): Cech; Belletti, Carvalho, Ivanovic, Zhirkov, Essien, Lampard, Deco, J Cole; Drogba*, Anelka
Apoel Nicosia (4-5-1): Chiotis; Poursaitidis, Elia, Jorge, Kontis; Morais, Pinto, Alexandrou, Kosowski, Michael; Mirosavljevic*
ExtraFootie Prediction: Chelsea 3 - 0 Apoel Nicosia. The Blues will want to put the defeat by City behind them and should prove too strong for the Cypriots whom they have already defeated on Matchday 2.
