FC Twente boss Steve McClaren is reportedly ready to make an audacious loan move to bring AC Milan striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to the De Grolsch Veste in January
Goal.com claim that a 'close source' has told them that the former England manager is eager to bring Huntelaar back to his homeland in order to boost Twente's title bid.
The Tukkers are currently top of the Eredivisie, and believe they will be able to tempt the Rossoneri into allowing the 26-year-old to join them on loan until the end of the season as he has found chances hard to come by at the San Siro.
The former Ajax hitman has scored just two goals for the Milan since his £13million summer move from Real Madrid, and has found himself behind the likes of Alexandre Pato and Marco Borriello in the pecking order.
Huntelaar scored a staggering 105 goals in 136 games for Ajax before moving to the Santiago Bernabeu in January 2008, and has also been linked with a move to the Premier League with Tottenham.
