In light of the recent furore surrounding Thierry Henry's handball against the Republic of Ireland, ExtraFootie has dug up some more blatant 'incidents' to make the France captain's look almost forgiveable.
1. Just this very weekend, Brisbane Roar's Henrique (now nicknamed Thierry Henrique, of course!) produced this spectacular double handed effort to prevent Melbourne Victory's Archie Thompson from having a free run at goal.
2. Bit of a blast from the past this one, but notable since Newcastle's Steven Taylor manages to combine football's two current cardinal sins, handling the ball and diving in one moment of remarkably unsubtle madness.
3. Paul Scholes has had a couple of handballing aberrations in his old age, last season he managed to replicate the original 'Hand of God' against Zenit St Petersburg (for which he was sent off for), before blocking one on the line against Fulham, Taylor style.
4. And everyone knows that Lionel Messi is Diego Maradona's natural heir, proved not only by his 'goal-of-the-century' aping effort against Getafe a few years back, but also by his own version of the 'Hand of God' against Espanyol.
