Real Madrid superstar Kaka has agreed with former AC Milan team-mate Gennaro Gattuso's assessment that he is yet to find his best form in the Spanish capital since his £59million summer switch.
The Brazilian playmaker has scored three goals in 10 games for Los Blancos so far this season, and despite being second in La Liga, the knives have been sharpened by the Spanish media after a couple of below par performances from Kaka and Madrid.
Milan's tenacious midfielder Gattuso stated recently that he believed Kaka has been a shadow of his former self since his big money move to the Bernabeu, and the former FIFA World Player of the Year has agreed, blaming a lack of continuity for his form. "I think I can improve and do much more for the team,"he told the club's official website.
"I think I'm like the team as a whole right now; I lack continuity, I need to play well for longer periods of time and I need more games. I have to become fitter too because it is hard on me to play two games a week.
"I believe I'm doing my best to get the continuity I need. In order to play well I need to get fitter and adapt to the team.
"I'm trying to find the best position for me. I'm especially trying to connect better with the team's forwards."
