France legend Zinedine Zidane clearly hasn't lost his sparkling footballing ability just yet, with the former Real Madrid midfielder scoring a trademark free-kick in an exhibition game recently.

'Zizou', 37, who retired from the game in 2006, was playing for French third division side Amiens against the Variety Club of France in aid of the French charity 'Plus de Vie'.

France may still be regretting that he hung up his boots at such a comparatively early age with his glorious 25-yard free-kick, which bears a close resemblance to one he scored against England in Euro 2004, proving he's still got it.

Republic of Ireland fans can count themselves extremely fortunate that Les Bleus' legendary No.10 will be consigned to merely a watching brief at Croke Park on Saturday!
