Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has lashed out at the Italian media, suggesting they show hatred for his club and are biased towards title rivals Juventus.
The outspoken coach has been angered by the coverage of recent UEFA Champions League games, in which his Nerazzurri side have been heavily criticised for draws with Barcelona and Rubin Kazan respectively.
The Portuguese tactician argues that the Bianconeri's ties with Bordeaux and Bayern Munich have been reported in an entirely different light and in a much more positive manner.
The 'Special One' has often been considered a friend of the
press, though his relationship with the media in Italy has been more
strained than the one he enjoyed with the English press at Stamford
Bridge.
"I am not bothered that we have not won a Champions League game in seven attempts," the former Chelsea boss said at a press conference on Friday. "Of course when it's us, seven games seem like seventy, but when the other team [Juventus] don't win in six European games, it seems like one or two.
"I don't mind as I am used to these things now. A draw against the best team in the world seems like a disaster, but a draw against an average team seems like a work of art.
"All you journalists are intelligent, good at your work. I'm not the one who writes or decides."
