Chelsea seem to be insisting that he is going nowhere but we've heard that before. Recovering from a bad injury so if the right offer comes in I think they would consider it, especially if they are set to embark on a £100million spending spree as reported in the press. He's a good player in flashes but has never quite fulfilled his potential.
As a Tottenham supporter I would like to see this happen, a proven player with top four pedigree is the type of player that Tottenham should be after. And while another player with a history of injury problems is a risk, Joe Cole is a quality player who'll have no problems blending into a team with a very british core and a manager who he has worked with before.
