I doubt Spurs will get Hunterlaar now after signing Crouch and Spurs haven't really inproved there bland squad from last season except for a new striker they didn't really need

Htelaar has gone to Milan which is disappointing but then I think the addition of Peter Crouch is important as he gives us different option up front than we have already. Sebastien Bassong was one of the only positives from Newcastle's season last year and he gives us some more cover in defence, we now have four good centre backs and Corluka who can play there also.We also have excellent full backs in Hutton and Bale.

Although, we haven't improved vastly we had a good squad anyway. Man for man I think we have one of the best squads in the country. However, what's more important to look at is the teams that finished fifth, sixth and seventh last year. Aston Villa, Everton and Fulham in particular do well because they play well as a team. There is no denying that Young, Arteta and Barry's of those teams were influential last year but it is the team ethic and good manager that makes those teams perform week in week out. I don't think that there is anyone who would have put Fulham seventh last year, but add an experienced manager and a hard working group of players and they go from Relegation battlers to playing in the European Cup. I think if we can emulate this philosophy then we could have a very successful year.
