Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Luka Modric has moved a step closer to making his first-team comeback after four months out with a broken leg.
Modric, 24, suffered the horror injury way back in Spurs' 2-1 win over Birmingham City in August after a clash with midfielder Lee Bowyer.
Having been sidelined for over four months, the Croatian magician has been training with the Spurs youth team in recent weeks in an attempt to build up his fitness and confidence before making a return to first-team action.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is hopeful he can have the creative playmaker back in time for Spurs' clash at home to Wolves on Saturday.
'Arry will be hoping his side can return to winning ways after their disappointing 2-2 draw at Everton on Sunday, a game in which they led 2-0 with just 12 minutes remaning, as they look to cement their place in the top four.
