Wolves' big money summer signing Kevin Doyle has found his feet at Molineux and has come in for praise from his manager Mick McCarthy.
The former Reading man was on target for the third time this season during his teams well earned draw at Goodison Park against Everton on the weekend. He latched onto a route one goal kick from Wayne Hennessey to slot the ball calmly past Tim Howard in the Everton goal.
It looked as though Mick McCarthy's men would hang on for a famous victory on Merseyside, but Russian Diniyar Bilyaletdinov popped up with just two minutes left to hand the home side an equaliser.
Nevertheless, the former Irish National team coach was pleased with the display and especially Doyle's contribution.
"Doyle has been a 'signature' signing of the summer, our big signing.
And he has proved to be worth every single penny of the money we paid.
"He is a terrific player and has started to score goals. There will be more, I am delighted with him."
The Adamstown born ace cost the Molineux club over £6million, and McCarthy will be hoping that his goals are enough to maintain Wolves' Premier League status come the end of the season.
