Wolves have been buoyed by the news that star winger Michael Kightly has returned to full training after nearly six months out due to injury.
The 23-year-old has yet to play any part in Wolves' Premier League campaign this season due to a broken metatarsal and hip surgery he underwent last campaign.
However, Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has confirmed he has now returned to training, although he concedes this Saturday's clash against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park has come to soon for him to make his long-awaited comeback.
"Kightly was back in full training yesterday, which is good news," McCarthy told the Daily Express. "We'll have to see what happens in terms of a game because he's still nowhere near the real Kights yet.
"We'll just make sure he's alright and doesn't get frustrated with himself, but he's fine."
Kightly has been a revelation for the Molineux outfit following his arrival from Grays Athletic for just £25,000 in 2006 and has since forced his way into Stuart Pearce's England Under-21 side with a number of impressive displays.
A host of Premier League clubs have been reportedly keeping a close eye on his development with West Ham and Everton linked with a £5million move last season, while Manchester United and Aston Villa are also though to have been keen.
Meanwhile, Wolves captain Jody Craddock will also be forced to sit out his side's clash against Rovers due to a hamstring injury, which will pave the way for young defenders Michael Mancienne and Christophe Berra to stake their claim for a starting berth.
