Wolves land Zubar

Mick McCarthy's Molineux revolution continues as he signs his sixth new face of the summer as the Midlands club prepare for life in the Premier League.

With the ink not yet dry on the contract signed by former Sheff Utd defender Greg Halford yesterday, yet another new signing has been unveiled at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Former French U21 international stopper Ronald Zubar has made the switch from Marseille to link up with Mick McCarthy's Premier League new boys. He pens a four-year-deal at Molineux and is seen by McCarthy as a real talent.
The former Caen man played 72 games for Marseille during his stint there and figured for them in the Champions League also.

The highly-rated powerful centre back is yet to make his full interntaional debut but is believed to be on the verge of breaking into the French squad. The opportunity for regular first team football in England's top flight is sure to do his international career no harm.

The former Sunderland and Republic of Ireland boss see's Zubar as an important addition to his squad.

"Ronald is a quick powerful defender who has played for the French (under 21 team) and has got Champions League experience,'' he said.

The French ace follows the arrivasl of Greg Halford and hitman Kevin Doyle in recent weeks.
