Wigan defender Maynor Figueroa scored arguably the goal of the season when he netted from just inside his own half against Stoke City on Saturday.
With the scores standing at one-a-piece the Honduran defender decided to take matters into his own hands and went for a spectacular shot from just inside the Wigan half which flew beyond the despairing Thomas Sorenson and into the Stoke net.
Comparisons have already been made between Figueroa's strike and David Beckham's sensational effort for Manchester United against Wimbledon way back in 1996.
We can't decide which of the two we prefer here at ExtraFootie so check them both out below and give us your verdict.
