Tottenham, Wigan, Portsmouth and Newcastle are all reportedly keen on bringing veteran Espanyol striker Raul Tamudo to England in the January transfer window.
Espanyol are apparently keen to offload their all-time record goalscorer after a contract dispute, and it seems the 32-year-old is set for a move to England.
Tamudo's current contract expires at the end of the season, and Los Periquitos are keen to sell him on for a fee, believed to be in the region of £2million.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp supposedly wants the hitman to replace Russian forward Roman Pavlyuchenko, who looks certain to leave White Hart Lane when the window opens.
Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has previously made his admiration of the player known, and Portsmouth and Newcastle are also said to be monitoring the situation, according to Sport.
Tamudo has scored an impressive 129 league goals in 334 appearances for the Barcelona-based side in thirteen years at the club.
