Moses to become a Latic?

Crystal Palace starlet Victor Moses is a target for Wigan Athletic reports are emerging today, with boss Roberto Martinez said to be very keen on the young gun.

Having raided his former club Swansea City to land Jordi Gomez and Jason Scotland, the Latics ambitious new boss is again looking to The Championship to add what he calls a bit of 'unpredictability' to his squad.

It appears as if the 18-year-old wonderkid fits the bill for the Spaniard and he is preparing a £5million swoop. Moses is hugely thought of at Selhurst Park and manager Neil Warnock has nursed his precocious talents through at a steady pace. But now, the England U19 attacker, having appeared over 40 times for The Eagles, looks set to swap South West London for Lancashire.

The Championship club are reluctant to let one of their future stalwarts leave, but will listen to suitable offers for the player.Moses, who has been linked with other Premier League suitors, is also thought to be keen to test himself at the highest level.

I don't think that Palace fans have see the best of Moses yet and are looking forward to what he can do with Freddie Sears upfront this season.

Not sure this would be a good move for Moses. Wigan have a new manager and for clubs of their size that can make a big difference to their season. Moses could go from being the top man at a Championship squad to an outsider in a struggling Premier League club, albeit considerably wealthier.

On balance, I think he should stay until a bigger club comes calling.
