Cudicini on the mend

Tottenham 'keeper Carlo Cudicini is out of hospital and recovering at home following a horrific motorcycle accident recently.

The former Chelsea man won't feature again this season after fracturing his wrists and injuring his pelvis in the smash. But the good news is that he will play again for The Lillywhites after a succesful operation.

Despite nearing the end of his career, Spurs still believe that 36-year-old could do a job for them in the future, and the news is sure to have been most welcome to Harry Redknapp and co.

However, 'arry revealed that had he known the Italian had a motorbike he would have certainly banned him from using it.

"I've never thought about letting a player ride a bike. I didn't even know he had one. We don't let them do it. I'm sure he won't be riding it again."

The player acknowledged the support he had from fans, friends and colleagues and thanked everyone for their kind messages.

"I've received many emails and cards from team mates, Tottenham and Chelsea fans, people who work at both clubs and from people who don't support Tottenham or Chelsea," he told Spurs' official website.

"All in all it has been a touching reaction from people who support football in general. I want to thank everybody because, for sure, it has made me feel much, much better."
