Unsettled Spurs full-back Gareth Bale could be set to jet-set to Italy and link up with AC Milan ahead of the new season as he looks to end his unhappy spell with the Lillywhites.
It's the biggest unkept secret in North London that the Welsh starlet and Spurs boss Harry Redknapp don't see eye to eye.
Redknapp is still at a loss as to why, whenever he selects Bale in the Spurs defence in the league they simply cannot win a game. It's happened a record 24 times so far and the boss is now at his whit's end.
Bale's career has somewhat stuttered at The Lane, and he may now be regretting the decision he made to snub
Manchester United for a move to North London. He still remains a huge talent and it may be that a change of scenery is what he needs to revive his career.
Now the former Saints player's agent Pepino Tirri has revealed that a move to the
Rossoneri is a real possibility. However, negotiations are not at an advanced stage just yet.
“It’s true, the player likes Milan but for the moment no official offer
has arrived for him,” Tirri told
calciomercato.it.
“Many coaches are a fan of Bale, (Harry) Redknapp included. Unsellable?
In today’s market there is no such thing as an unsellable player.
“However, no offer has come in, we have not talked about it (a
transfer) with Tottenham, nor of his price. That said, I think that the
figures circulating are correct.”
Rumours persist that a deal worth around £12million is being put in place for the free-kick specialist.
