The man behind the proposed takeover of Pompey, Sulaiman Al Fahim, has landed himself in yet more hot water, adding to the woes at the south coast club.

The 2008 FA Cup winners find themselves in limbo as they await the takeover by the Far Eastern mogul, unable to bring in new recruits, and finding it increasingly difficult to hold on to the players they do have currently.

Now the Abu Dhabi businessman who is already facing a thorough investigation by the FA to see if he is suitable to own the club, is being subjected to a legal probe into his property dealings. There appears to be some financial discrepancies in the company for which he is a director called Hydra Properties.

Should formal legal proceedings be instigated it may mean the proposed takeover will completely collapse, leaving the club in complete dissarray.
