The Championship: Tuesday Highlights

ExtraFootie's Robert Brady looks into the best of Tuesday night's action in the Championship including a win for Plymouth, an epic battle at Brammell Lane and a rout by Cardiff at home to Derby.

Game of the Night - Sheffield United 3-3 Ipswich. A stoppage time equaliser from Chris Morgan was enough to earn the Blades a point and deny Roy Keane a first win of the season with the Tractor Boys.

Performance of the Night - Cardiff 6-1 Derby. The Bluebirds were ruthless and recovered from three consecutive defeats by putting Nigel Clough's hapless Rams to the sword in stunning fashion.

Upset of the Night - Plymouth Argyle have managed to register their first victory of the season after a rugged away performance at London Road and move off the bottom of the table. This was Peterborough's third game in a week and it showed!

Player of the Night - Michael Chopra. A superb quadruple from the Cardiff City striker contributed immensely to The Bluebirds victory. The former Sunderland hitman showed some clinical finishing in front of goal and manager Dave Jones will be hoping he can continue to showcase his predatory instincts every week. Superb lad!

Donkey of the Night - It was difficult to single out a particular player in the Derby County defence. Therefore, this evening's award goes to the entire defence who might as well have stayed at home! So, Dean Leacock, Dean Moxey, Shaun Barker, Fredrik Stoor and Jay McEverly…you donkeys!

Goal of the Night - Danny Haynes. A superb flowing move from his Bristol City team-mates created space for the striker, and he wasted no time in unleashing a 25-yard bullet into the top corner! A fantastic left footed effort from Haynes, to cap off a well rounded move!

Talking Point of the Night - Pressure continues to mount on Ipswich boss Roy Keane as his side drop two points in the last minute following a calamity from experienced goalkeeper Richard Wright. The result sees The Tractor Boys rooted to the bottom of the table and are now the only team without a Championship win...

Team of the Night (4-3-3) - Federici (Reading), Nyatanga (Bristol City), Hird (Doncaster), Tate (Swansea), Purse (Sheff Wed), Danns (Crystal Palace) Clingan (Coventry), Leadbitter (Ipswich), Chopra (Cardiff), Henderson (Sheffield Utd) Best (Coventry)
