Notts County director of football Sven Goran Eriksson could be set for a similar role at Spanish second division side Cadiz, as well as continuing in his position at Meadow Lane!
The former England manager is said to be mulling over a potential position with the Spanish minnows with plans afoot for a Swiss-Arab takeover.
According to reports in Spain the Swede's role with League Two outfit Notts County could be mirrored with the Andalucian side in a move that would see the two clubs working together under the same group of owners.
Eriksson had been seen visiting Cadiz's impressive El Rosal training HQ earlier this month and it is said that the club could be used to channel players between the two.
However, Cadiz president Antonio Munoz has dismissed the speculation as pure gossip and has insisted that Eriksson merely wanted to visit the club's training facilities.
"Eriksson was in Spain for a vacation and had spoken very highly of the (El Rosal) facilities and wanted to visit," he is quoted as saying in the Daily Mail. "At no time did he speak of interest or any offer. The meeting with Eriksson did take place.
"There's no point hiding it because he called me, he came to Cadiz, spent some time in Spain and he was very impressed with our facilities and our set up. At some point we will definitely go for lunch."
Munoz admits he would be 'delighted' to sell the Segunda B outfit providing he received a good offer, but concedes, with tongue firmly in cheek, it would take a wealthy sheik to get the club to where it wants to be! "We're not planning to sell but if someone comes along with a good offer then we would be delighted to sell.
"We're not closing the door on it but if we're ever to to become like a Villarreal or a Getafe, we'd need an Arab sheik."
