Notts County managerial target Roberto Mancini will insist on meeting the League Two side's mystery Middle Eastern owners before he considers whether to take them up on their mammoth offer.
The 44-year-old Italian is currently being courted by the Magpies director of football and close friend Sven Goran Eriksson, as the Meadow Lane outfit seek a replacement for recently sacked manager Ian McParland.
The Daily Mirror claim that Mancini has requested a face-to-face meeting with the Munto Finance owners who bought-out the club in the summer before he decides whether to accept the offer, which is said to be worth £12million over five years.
The former Inter Milan boss, who has been out of football for 18 months since leaving the San Siro, is said to be overwhelmed by the offer having already been keen on a move to England, and wants to ensure everything is legitimate.
He is reported to have concerns over the owners' current involvement in the League's 'fit and proper persons test', even though they are expected to come through that without any difficulties.
Mancini, who has recently ruled out the possibility of taking another job in Serie A, hopes to secure the meeting before Eriksson and County chief executive Peter Trembling embark on a trip to the Far East next week.
