Sol Campbell is set to make his long-awaited Notts County debut on Saturday with Morecambe's 'glamourous' Christie Park the venue.
The 34-year-old former England international has undergone a gruelling fitness regime over the past three weeks after penning a five-year deal with the ambitious League Two outfit following his release from Portsmouth.
And instead of the bright lights of Old Trafford, the Emirates or Stamford Bridge the big defender will be running out at a ground with a capacity of just 6,400 as he begins the next chapter in his career.
Ian McParland's side will be looking to build on last weekend's 5-1 thumping on Northampton at Meadow Lane and the inclusion of Campbell will certainly go along way to helping them achieve that.
