Ambitious League Two outfit Notts County are set to pull off another major transfer coup by bringing Maltese hitman Michael Mifsud to Meadow Lane on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old is a free agent having being released by Championship side Coventry City at the end of last season after a successful two-year spell at the Ricoh Arena where he scored 16 goals in 86 appearances.
The Malta international has has had plenty of interest in his services from a host of clubs on the continent and is believed to have rejected moves to Turkish side Ankaragucu and Greek outfit Larissa.
