Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has oulined the club's ambition for next season by completing the double signing of Chris Gunter and Paul McKenna from Tottenham Hotspur and Preston, respectively.Wales international full-back Gunter has inked a four-year contract at the City Ground for a fee of £1.75million, while McKenna, 31, has signed a three-year deal after the two clubs agreed a fee of £750,000.
Gunter, 19, enjoyed a productive loan spell with Forest at the end of last season having fallen out of Harry Redknapp's plans at White Hart Lane and after completing his permanent switch he admits he is
"delighted" to be returning to Trentside.
Experienced midfielder McKenna, who knows Davies well having played under him during the Scot's time at the helm of the Deepdale outfit, has revealed the move has given him a
"new lease of life" having spent his entire career with North End.
The capture of the duo represents Davies' fith and sixth signings of the summer after Lee Camp, Paul Anderson, David McGoldrick and Dele Adebola as he looks to lead the club to Premier League next season.
