Dele Adebola is on the verge of a switch to Nottingham Forest, with manager Billy Davies moving fast to land the bulky forward.
The Nigerian international is a free agent after walking away from
Bristol City. Adebola refused to put pen to paper on a new deal at Ashton Gate and left the West Country outfit and the end of last season.
Now Forest have moved to sign the 34-year old former
Coventry hitman according to
SkySports.com. He bagged 16 goals for the Robins in his 18 month spell there and the 6ft 3in man is known to be a physical threat in The Championship. The journeyman has had spells with
Birmingham City and
Crystal Palace in the past but now moves to the City Ground on a two-year deal.
The deal will be finalised at the beginning of July when Adebola's current deal expires.
