MK Dons manager Paul Ince has completed the signing of West Ham midfielder Nigel Quashie, who arrives at Stadium:mk on a loan deal until January.

The experienced midfielder is yet to play for The Hammers this season under manager Gianfranco Zola and wanted to leave Upton Park in search of regular first-team football.

Quashie, 31, could now make his Dons debut against Carlisle United on Tuesday night, although Ince will to need to assess his fitness levels before making a decision.

MK Dons are currently sitting in sixth place in League One, four points adrift of Charlton Athletic, who hold the last remaining automatic promotion place.
