Dons snap up Easter

New MK Dons boss Paul Ince has concluded the signing of Plymouth striker Jermaine Easter who has penned a two-year deal at Stadium:MK.

The news comes after the 27-year-old was spotted at the Dons' Woughton training ground along with Jemal Johnson, who joined the League One outfit from Premier League new-boys Wolves yesterday.

Easter has played for a number of teams throughout the Football League during his career but arguably enjoyed his most productive spell at Wycombe Wanderers between 2006-2008 where he bagged 21 goals in just 59 league appearances for the Adams Park outfit.

The hitman joins Johnson, Crewe defender Danny Woodards, Walsall forward Jabo Ibehre and Wycombe stopper David McCracken as the new recruits at the Dons this summer as Ince prepares for an all out assault on promotion to the Championship next season.

FAO Panner - hahahah

A goalkeeper is a SHOT STOPPER!!!!

BBC Sport, Sky Sports.com etc etc etc all use 'stopper' as a word to describe a defender - its commonplace mate!!!

FAO JamDav

How ironic, a post complaining about my use of the English language, where they have errors themselves.

INCIDENTALLY, I believe you could do with a look at this:

Panner - Incorrect, a stopper is a goalkeeper. I'm not saying it should have been repeated, I'm saying he should have at least have been given an appropriate adjective!

Oh yeah and i should have made a cheese beano and not a cheese toastie for lunch today.

Nope: Re

Who comes on here and complains about a defender being called a 'stopper'? Its not an English language debate website you weasel.

Incidently, 'whoever' is one word and you should have used 'got' rather than 'gotten'.

?

Well,, it is a common word for a defender - saves repetition mate...

defender Danny Woodards, Walsall forward Jabo Ibehre and Wycombe defender David McCracken...

Doesn't sound right....

Each to their own i suppose...

Nope

Not a fan of a defender being called a "Stopper".

Ugh. Dont make me laugh?

Clearly not a fan of McCracken then??

Ugh. Do Me A Favour

Who ever edited this has gotten it all wrong.

It isn't the stadium:MK, it's Stadium:MK

Wycombe "Stopper" David McCracken?! Don't make me laugh.
