Paul Ince is understood to be in talks with MK Dons about a possible return to the League One club, after Roberto Di Matteo left the stadium:mk to become the new West Brom manager.According to
Sky Sports News, the former
Blackburn boss is holding discussions with Dons chairman Pete Winkleman regarding a possible return to Milton Keynes, after he left the club 12 months ago to take up the reins at Ewood Park.
The self styled 'Guv'nor' was sacked in December after just six months at the helm after Rovers picked up only three wins from 17 games under his stewardship.
However, he remains a hero with the MK Dons support having won the Football League Trophy and the League Two title in his one and only season in charge in 2007/08.
With Di Matteo packing his backs for The Hawthorns after leading the club to the League One play-offs last season, it would appear that Ince could be making an emotional return to the place where he cemented his reputation as one of the finest young managers in the country.
