Arsenal starlet Jack Wilshere has said he would be open to a loan move away from the Emirates Stadium in order to gain regular first-team football, though he insists it would have to be to another Premier League club.
The 17-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the English game at the moment, and has already earned himself a place in the England Under-21 side.
However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has held back from throwing Wilshere in at the deep end at Arsenal by using him sparingly, giving him just five appearances so far this season, with only two of those being starts.
This has led to reports emerging that the French tactician is considering sending the youngster out on loan in January to give him a regular run of games, and Wilshere appears to be receptive to the idea.
"I would think about it but I think it would have to be in the Premier League," he said, according to skysports.com.
"Not that the Championship is a bad league at all, but it might suit me differently.
"I have seen things about Middlesbrough, Celtic and Rangers being interested and there may be others, but a Premier League side would be better.
"I would, of course, rather stay and be involved at Arsenal though, so we will see what happens."
