Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has reiterated his belief that his troops have the ability to cope with the pressure of a title race as life at the top in the Premier League hots up.
With Chelsea dropping points at home to Everton yesterday and Manchester United suffering a shock defeat at the hands of Aston Villa, the title race has been throw wide open.
The Gunners have two games in hand over their rivals and should they win both of those then they will draw to within three points of leaders Chelsea, level on points with United in second.
One of those games in hand comes this afternoon at Anfield against Liverpool. If this year's fixture is to be at all like last years pulsating 4-4 draw then we will be in for a treat on Merseyside.
But Wenger is getting down to business and is eager to propell Arsenal into the mix for the top spot. He knows that the next few weeks will be crucial and believes he has the ammo at his disposal to maintain a challenge.
“I believe it is still all to go for and that is what we have to show," he told Sky Sports.
“I am convinced that we have the technical, physical and mental qualities to cope with the pressure.
“December and January will be very important months for us.”
