Ipswich Town midfielder Carlos Edwards insists the club's playing staff are fully behind under pressure manafer Roy Keane, despite their disastrous start to the season.
Ipswich currently sit bottom of the Championship table after going 13 games without a win which is in stark contrast to their pre-season billing as favourites for promotion to the top-flight.
The Tractor Boys looked to have ended their baron spell against Watford on Tuesday evening at Portman Road, only for Nathan Ellington to prolong their misery as he snatched an injury time equaliser.
The result has only increased the pressure on Keane, with the former Sunderland boss coming in for criticism from the club's own supporters after yet another poor result.
Despite this, Trinidad and Tobago midfielder Edwards is adamant that the Irishman remains the right man for the job.
"We are all firmly behind the manager. What more can he say or do?" he told the Daily Star.
But Edwards, who also played under Keane during their time at Sunderland, knows results must improve quickly if they are to get the fans backs on their sides.
"The manager is very disappointed," he said. "He asked us in the dressing room if anyone had ever experienced a run like this in their careers and not one of the players has ever gone this long without a victory.
"We are staying positive and sticking together. We know what is at stake and we really believe things can only get better."
