Hull City's enigmatic midfielder Jimmy Bullard could be facing yet more time out of the game after injuring his knee during the Tigers' clash with Aston Villa this weekend.
The former Fulham man was inconsolable as he left the field in tears during the early stages of the game of Villa Park.
At this stage it's impossible to assess the true extent of the damage of the injury, but everyone will be fearing the worst at the KC Stadium.
Ligament damage during his first season at Hull meant that he has barely featured for Phil Brown's men since making a £5million switch from Fulham.
But the KC faithful were finally starting to appreciate why the club parted with such an amount of cash for the 31-year-old. He had been in fine form during the last month, and had garnered the November player of the month award.
He had helped Hull to go unbeaten in four, but it looks as if they will have to do without him now.
