Fulham have completed the signing of Swedish forward David Elm for a fee believed to be in the region of £500,000 from Kalmar FF on a one-year deal. The 26-year-old joined the Cottagers in the dying moments of the transfer window, completing a move to Craven Cottage that
ExtraFootie revealed earlier this week.
Elm becomes the sixth new signing for the West London outfit this summer, joining Stephen Kelly, Bjorn Helge Riise, Kagisho Dikgacoi, Jonathan Greening and Damien Duff.
The 6ft 3in forward is delighted with his move and told the club's
official website: "I am looking forward to training with the team straight away in preparation for some important matches after this international break.
"I am now looking forward to a new and exciting chapter in my career."The signing of Elm goes some way to easing Cottagers manager Roy Hodgson's striking problems, with first-choice pairing Andrew Johnson and Bobby Zamora both currently struggling with injury.
