Fulham's talented defender Brede Hangeland looks set to stay put at Craven Cottage despite Arsenal's firm interest in landing him.
The Norwegian ace has been the subject of sustained interest this summer after starring for Roy Hodgson's men last season, which culminated in them qualifying for Europe and the Europa League.
Hangeland, 28, arrived in West London from FC Copenhagen in 2008 and has gone on to make over 50 league appearances for The Cottagers.
He has also been capped 53 times by Norway and was thought to be keen on a move to a team playing Champions League football. Arsenal would fit that bill, but the defender himself has quelled rumours of a move away from Craven Cottage.
He reiterated his desire to stay with Fulham and spoke of his happiness under Roy Hodgson's guidance.
"I`m sure I`ll stay. It`s nice t be linked with big clubs but I`m really happy at Fulham," he said.
