Trio depart Craven Cottage

Fulham have confirmed that Moritz Volz and Collins John have the left the club following the end of their contracts, while Danish midfielder Leon Andreasen has also left Craven Cottage to sign for German side Hannover 96.

Volz, who finished last season on loan at Championship outfit Ipswich, made 146 appearances for the Cottagers following his arrival from Arsenal in 2004.

The 26-year-old German, who became something of a cult figure at the club, will be best remembered for scoring what was the 15,000th Premier League goal in a game against Chelsea on 20th December 2006.

Dutch striker John has also been informed that he is free to leave the club by manager Roy Hodgson bringing to an end a five-and-a-half association with the West London outfit.

Signed by Chris Colemen for £600,000 from FC Twente in January 2004, John managed 20 goals in 95 appearances but has spent the last two years on loan at Leicester City, Watford and in his homeland with N.E.C Nijmegen.

Meanwhile, Andreasen, who joined the Premier League club from Werder Bremen in the 2008 January transfer window, has penned a three-year deal at the AWD-Arena after initially joining the Bundesliga outfit on loan at the turn of the year.
