Everton are to offer a trial to highly-rated Chilean starlet Nicolas Millan, a 17-year-old midfielder dubbed the new 'Cristiano Ronaldo'.
However, the youngster, who currently plays in his homeland with Colo Colo, will not arrive at Goodison Park until he turns 18 in November.
At just 5ft 5in tall Millan relies on his quick feet and technique to beat defenders, playing on either wing or as a striker.
He has previously been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Inter Milan, but it appears that Toffees boss David Moyes has made the first move by offering the prodigious talent a chance of securing a move to Europe.
Millan became the youngest ever player to appear in the Chilean league in September 2006, making his Colo Colo debut at just 14 years-old.
When asked about comparisons to Real Madrid's £80million superstar Ronaldo, Millan replied: "I think my playing style is similar to his. I enjoy using the flanks and going past defenders, and I'm particularly good at stepovers."
