Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has dimissed suggestions he could quit Stamford Bridge next summer to take over the managerial reigns of Italy, should Marcello Lippi stand down after the World Cup finals.
The 50-year-old has taken to the English game like a duck to water, as his side sits imposingly at the top of the Premier League, with a five point lead over nearest title rivals Arsenal and Manchester United respectively.
Earlier in the season, the former AC Milan boss admitted the Azzurri job was on his to do list, whilst also reaffirming his desire to return to his homeland to coach AS Roma, the club he graced for eight years as a player.
However, Ancelotti is loving life in London, and is adamant he will not be putting his name forward for Marcello Lippi's job, should the Italy coach, as expected, take up an administrative post at Juventus after the World Cup.
The reason for Ancelotti's assuredness? Well yes, it has a lot to do with his love of the English game and his excellent results at Chelsea, but crucially the Italian has fallen in love with the classic English fry up. Good on you, Carlo!
"I have a three-year contract and I love everything about the club, their fans and English football," he told the Daily Mail.
"And the results, also, aren't bad. In the Premier League we've won 10 out of 12, three out of four in the Champions League.
"Even at the dining table I haven't had any problems. 'I am captivated by English cuisine and especially with breakfast. I became a fan of bacon."
