Brondby midfielder Samuel Holmen admits it would be 'fantastic' to play in the Premier League amid speculation that the Premier League's surprise package Burnley are weighing up a move for the ace.
The 25-year-old, who has been capped 15 times by Sweden, is thought to have caught the eye of Clarets boss Owen Coyel, as well as a host of clubs from France, with a number of fine displays for club and country recently.
Coyle is actively searching for players to improve his squad at Turf Moor as he looks to build on a promising start back in the top-fligh following a 33 year absence, which sees them sit 10th in the league with 12 points.
Holmen denies that he has had any direct contact with the Lancashire club but has openly expressed his desire to move to England, should a suitable offer be forthcoming. "There are always rumours, but there are probably clubs who keep an eye on me," he told Onside.dk.
"The Premier League would be fantastic for me. I believe that league would suit me fine."
Burnley are currently preparing for their game against Wigan on Saturday where they will look to bounce back from a 3-2 defeat to arch-rivals Blackburn last weekend and maintain their 100 per cent home record.
