A sensational dressing room bust-up at Bolton will spell the end of Gary Megson's tenure as Bolton boss this week.
The Trotters are struggling in the league and are stranded in the relegation zone, despite yesterday's battling display against Manchester City which earned them a point at the Reebok Stadium.
There have been growing calls amongst fans for Megson to be sacked, but it seems that an off-field incident will be enough to lose him his job.
Reports are emerging of a fierce dressing room bust up between Megson and defender JLloyd Samuel, during which the pair are said to have stood toe to toe, and had to be separated before coming to blows.
A furious Samuel is reported to have screamed: "It's no wonder that none of the players want to play for you," during the exchange.
The incident took place during Megson's half time team talk with his players at Molineux - a game Bolton went onto lose by 2-0 - and left everyone stunned.
Having initially planned to deal with the incident internally, the club will now use it as the final straw needed to give the former West Brom the push, and he will be relieved of his duties this week.
