Blackpool are facing a fight to keep hold of Charlie Adam at Bloomfield Road with a host of Premier League clubs, including Bolton, reportedly keeping a close eye on the Scotland international.
The 23-year-old has been in sparkling form for the Tangerines so far this season, notching six goals in 17 games to lift Ian Holloway's men to fifth in the Championship and firmly in the promotion hunt.
However, he could well be on his way out of Bloomfield Road as early as January, with Gery Megson's Trotters' heading a queue of Premier League clubs captivated with his consistently eye-catching performances.
The Seasiders will be desperate to hang onto Adam, since his loss would no doubt be a big blow to their hopes of reaching the top-flight for the first time since the launch of the Premier League in 1992, but a big money offer could well prove too tempting to the Championship outfit.
Adam enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at the club last season before making his move from Rangers permanent this summer at a cost of £500,000, making him Blackpool's all-time record signing.
