Championship high-fliers Blackpool have been linked with a move to bring Crystal Palace defender and hard-man Clint Hill to Bloomfield Road.
Hill has built a reputation of being an aggressive defender, backed up by his total of nine red cards during his career to date.
The player's agent, former Blackpool star Mickey Walsh, is seemingly touting for business by suggesting his client would be looking to head back north, where the Liverpudlian began his career with Tranmere Rovers.
Local Blackpool newspaper The Gazette quotes Walsh as saying: "Clint loves the boss (Neil Warnock) and is enjoying his time at Palace.
"But he's a northern lad and will eventually want to go home. If he was to move, then a northern club would be attractive to him."
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is said to be an admirer of the player, but a deal seems unlikely as it believed that the Tangerines' boss is targetting younger players to bring to the club, and at 31, Hill does not seem to fit that bill.
