Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has set his sights on landing 15-year-old Serbian striker Veljko Batrovic after impressing while on trial at the Emirates.
The teenager who has been likened to Barcelona star Lionel Messi has attracted interest from all over Europe, with substantial bids made by AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Olympiakos and Marseille, although so far they have all been rejected by the Serb's current club FK Bubamara.
Batrovic shares the same agent as Wenger, and newly-appointed Arsenal scout Christian Karembeu - Milan Calasan- and this is another pointer to a possible move.
Speaking to the News of the World, Calasan confirmed, "One thing is certain whether the player goes with Wenger or not, he will become a great player."
The Frenchman is keen to build from the bottom at The Gunners and a move for another young player is sure to fit in with his long term plans for success at The Emirates.
