Former Chelsea and Leeds forward Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is set to succeed Jim Magilton as boss of Championship outfit QPR.
The turbulent life at Loftus Road looks set to continue. Current boss Jim Magilton - who is suspended at the moment - is the seventh boss to take the reigns at the club just over 27 months.
His tenure looks to be coming to an end following a dressing room clash with Akos Buzsaky after the Hoops' recent defeat to Watford.
This means that former Chelsea goal machine Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is set to become the eighth boss in under three years at the club.
The Dutch international is yet to turn his hand to management since retiring from football in 2008, but it seems that the wealthy board at Loftus Road are willing to give him the chance to prove his worth in the dugout.
Despite a number of experienced managers being linked with the post, Hasselbaink has now emerged as the favourite to succeed Magilton, who protests his innocence, but will nevertheless be shown the door this week.
